This clinical trial is for people living with diabetic foot ulcers.

What is this clinical trial about?

This clinical trial is looking at a possible new treatment called CYWC628 for diabetic foot ulcers that are hard to heal. The treatment aims to support wound healing by promoting tissue regeneration, reducing inflammation, and improving blood flow to the affected area.

In this clinical trial, researchers will compare standard wound care with standard wound care plus an investigational treatment.

The study team wants to learn more about safety and whether the treatment works.

What will happen in the clinical trial?

People who take part will be placed into study groups. Depending on the group, participants may receive:

Standard wound care alone

Standard wound care plus an investigational treatment

The investigational treatment may be given at different dose levels. The study team will check how the foot ulcer is healing and watch for any side effects.

Are aged 18 to 80

Have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes

Have a current diabetic foot ulcer

Meet other study requirements checked by the study team
